COMMODITY FLOW MATRIX SURVEY DATA PROCESSING BPS MALUKU BARAT DAYA REGENCY 2021

Export and import transactions between regions are one of the important components in the economy of a country/region. For this reason, export-import transaction information data is needed as the basis for government programs. The resulting data is quite strategic in making government policies towards creating a conducive investment climate, so a comprehensive survey process must be carried out.

In general, this survey aims to obtain an overview of inter-regional import-export transactions of dominant commodities in a region and traded outside the region. Specifically, SMAK aims to:

1. Generate data:

· Value, volume, and destination of export marketing of superior products from the province of origin;

· Import value and volume of superior products from other provinces;

· Value and volume of foreign imports from other provinces;

2. Produce an inter-regional import-export structure by commodity; and

3. Develop a commodity flow matrix.

BPS Maluku Barat Daya Regency will carry out the 2021 SMAK activities in June s./d. September 2021, with a total sample of 25 samples of business samples in Klis Village, Moa District, Luang Barat Village, Mdona Hyera District, and in Hila Village, Romang Archipelago District. Field enumeration was carried out by a District Statistics Coordinator and 2 Statistical Partners of BPS-Statistics Indonesia, Southwest Maluku Regency. Meanwhile, field supervision and document checking and data processing were carried out directly by the Regional Accounts and Statistical Analysis Functional Staff of the Southwest Maluku Regency BPS, Br. Muhammad Tualeka, A.Md.Stat.
