Maluku's exports in August 2024 reached US$ 1.05 million or increased by around 153.61 percent compared to July 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value from January to August 2023 was US$ 34.88 million or decreased by around 26.29 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Maluku's exports in August 2024 came from the non-oil and gas sector.
Maluku's export destination countries in August 2024 were to ASEAN member countries worth US$ 0.48 million and other Asian countries worth US$ 0.53 million and countries outside the Asian region worth US$ 0.04 million.
The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from Maluku's outer ports in August 2024 reached US$ 0.53 million or decreased by 90.03 percent compared to July 2024.
Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through Maluku's outer ports from January to August 2024 reached US$ 18.44 million or decreased by around 41.56 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
