Abstract

  • Maluku's exports in May 2024 reached US$ 0.65 million or decreased by around 63.82 percent compared to April 2024.
  • Cumulatively, the export value from January to May 2023 was US$ 17.30 million or a decrease of around 27.22 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
  • Maluku's exports in May 2024 will come from the non-oil and gas sector.
  • The destination country for Maluku's exports in May 2024 will only be to Hong Kong worth US$ 0.65 million.
  • The total export value of commodities from Maluku exported from ports outside Maluku in May 2024 reached US$ 3.87 million or an increase of 403.53 percent compared to April 2024.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of commodities from Maluku exported through ports outside Maluku from January to May 2024 reached US$ 12.08 million or decreased by around 46.42 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
  • Maluku imports in May 2024 reached US$ 19.90 million or decreased by around 57.47 percent compared to imports in April 2024 (US$ 46.80 million).
